FABB welcome the progress made on the new Queen’s Parade designs, and are pleased to note the five outline concepts do reflect many of the elements brought to light in our own public engagement process, held from January to May 2014 with the help of the NIEA Challenge Fund.

The Queen’s Parade Public Engagement Event will run from Monday 16 June to Friday 20 June. Display boards exhibiting the draft proposals will be available to view at the Flagship Shopping Centre during the following periods.
Information boards will also be available to view from Monday 16 June to Friday 27 June at the Town Hall.

We’re pleased to announce that FABB, in association with Bangor Shared Space, have taken up a presence in one of the Project 24 Pods at Queens Parade for the month of May.
On Wednesday 2nd April, Bangor residents’ group – For A Better Bangor (FABB) hosted a conference on the topic of Queen’s Parade, and the way forward for its redevelopment.
